Hello, everyone! I hope you’re all having a wonderful holiday season, and I hope you have a fantastic New Year!
This will be something of a short update. This past week was actually more similar to the previous week than I was expecting it would be. I’ve been maintaining my writing streak, I’m still reading my way through the book I was working on last week. I’m also knitting a somewhat unexpected knitting project. Despite what I mentioned about potentially knitting fingerless gloves last week, I wasn’t sure I would be in a knitting mood. As it turns out, I most of the way through knitting a pair of fingerless gloves (knitting both at the same time).
I am steadily making progress on the end section of Book 10, though a good bit of this past week went toward assorted holiday stuff, so I didn’t make quite as much progress as I wanted. Still, I am pleased with the progress I have made, and I’m looking forward to the stuff that is coming up. Since this upcoming week is going to have some additional holiday stuff, I’m not sure how much I’m going to get done, but I’m going to make at least a bit of progress.
With regard to reading, I am almost done with JV Hilliard’s The Last Keeper. So far, it is interesting… I think I’m getting to the point where the assorted storylines are starting to come together. I’m also looking forward to getting back to The Fire Rose by Mercedes Lackey. While I’ve been reading at least a little bit everyday, there have been days lately where I haven’t had as much time as I wanted to have for reading.
This upcoming week will likely be a bit busy with holiday stuff. That said, I do plan to maintain my “write everyday” streak, especially since I am greatly enjoying what I’m doing with the end of Book 10. I’m also thinking I will likely finish The Last Keeper… I’ve got about a hundred pages to go on that one. I’m also thinking I will be finishing the fingerless gloves, since those are going a lot faster than I was expecting them to.
