Hello! I hope this finds you well.
This week went well fairly well. I made some progress with writing, and plotting for the rest of the series is also going well. I should be in pretty good shape for the upcoming session of Camp National Novel Writing Month (Camp NaNoWriMo or Camp NaNo). I’ve done a good bit of reading this week. I’m also looking forward to some corned beef and cabbage for St. Patrick’s Day later this week.
Book 10 is progressing nicely. I’m almost at the point where I’ve got three chapters left. I’m definitely figuring out a bit more about how to shape those chapters to fit with what I’ve been coming up with for Book 11 and Book 12. And in return, pondering these last three chapters has helped me sort out some key things for the last two books of this series. As for those last couple book of this series, I’ve been doing a good bit of plotting. Not to mention that while I was drafting part of the current chapter I’m working on, I came up with an idea for another song… It looks like my time participating in FAWM may have led to an additional element to my worldbuilding that will likely continue.
As for reading, I finished Brandon Sanderson’s Elantris, and I’m making my way through Garth Nix’s The Left-Handed Booksellers of London. I really enjoyed Elantris, and I am looking forward to starting Sanderson’s Mistborn soon. As for Garth Nix, I’ve actually been interested in reading his stuff for a while, so I’m glad to have an opportunity to do so. I also read the second volume of the “Collector’s Edition” of Fruits Basket. So far, I am also enjoying that story.
There are a few things I would like to do this upcoming week. I plan to continue writing Book 10 and plotting Book 11 and Book 12. I should be in pretty decent shape to start Book 11 for Camp NaNo on 1 Apr. My reading plans include finishing The Left-Handed Booksellers of London, and starting Mistborn. It is also likely that I will probably start reading Vol. 3 of the “Collector’s Edition” of Fruits Basket. Other than that, I’m sure I will find some kind of craft to work on this week.
