Hello, everyone! I hope y’all are doing well!
This week went well for me, and I made progress with quite a few things. Book 11 is coming along. I read a bit, and painted a good bit. My early “Huevember” attempt is going well. I’m on day 23, so far. My Irish lessons are going well. I even got to get together with one of my friends for a while. All in all, it’s been a pretty good time.
Writing this week has consisted of drafting Book 11. I have not been writing quite as much as I’d prefer, mostly due to the time going to my early/impromptu Huevember painting. I’ve only got another eight days of that challenge, so after that I should be able to focus more on drafting my current book and plotting my next book. I am planning to finish those two tasks prior to the start of NaNoWriMo on 1 Nov. That might partly depend on how long the draft of Book 11 becomes.
Reading for this week has mostly been progressing through Michael R. Miller’s Ascendant. My pace kind of slowed down from the first week, but I am enjoying the book fairly well. I am curious to see how the book will end up.
For the “100 Day Gaeilge Challenge” that I began in August, I am still making progress. I’m currently on day 62. It’s been nice getting back into a bit of routine with that. Most of what I’ve been doing is working through Duolingo. That seems to be going fairly well, all things considered.
My plan for this week involves a lot of writing, reading, and painting. I plan to draft more of Book 11. I know I mentioned in last week’s update that I planned to to finish Ascendant. That didn’t exactly work, so I’m going to try doing that this week. I will also be almost finished with my impromptu/early Huevember, so that should be exciting.
That seems to be everything for this update! Thanks for reading!
